The 10th Buntingford Classic
4 September 2010 sees the annual Buntingford Classic come to town. Classic cars, trucks, tractors and bikes of all ages will adorn our historic High Street with a vibrant and colourful spectacle.
For the enthusiastic classic vehicle owner, the event represents the perfect opportunity to polish up the chrome and enjoy like minded company. For the casual onlooker, the free admission to the event gives a rare opportunity to soak up real nostalgia in the historic setting. One can really imagine some of the real vintage motors hobbling along Buntingford’s original cobble street, surrounded by its old Tudor scene.
Attracting over 2,000 visitors to the town, curious to marvel at the vehicles the show is in its 10th year and growing in popularity attracting visitors from all over the region as well as some overseas visitors and exhibitors.
There’s plenty going on in town all day. Several barbeques and a hog roast will be on offer, as well as a number of fabulous live musicians entertaining you on every street corner. All of the shops should be open as usual, although access to them by car may be restricted.
The event takes place between 11.00am and 4.00pm on Saturday 4 September 2010.
