Buntingford Late Night Shopping & Christmas Lights 2026

Friday 27 November 2026 – 4pm–8pm

Buntingford comes alive for Christmas on Friday 27 November as our annual Late Night Shopping evening returns, bringing together local businesses, independent traders and the community for a wonderful evening of festive fun.

From 4pm until 8pm, enjoy late-night shopping throughout the town, alongside over 30 stalls and food outlets, offering a great selection of gifts, crafts, food and festive treats. There’ll be plenty to browse, enjoy and discover as you get into the Christmas spirit.

Support Our High Street

Our high street is at the heart of Buntingford, and this event is a fantastic opportunity to support the local businesses that make our town so special.

By shopping, eating and using local businesses, you’re helping to keep our high street thriving and contributing to a vibrant future for our town.

Choose local this Christmas and support the businesses at the heart of our community.

Lights of Love

The evening will also include the annual Lights of Love ceremony, held in the beautiful grounds of The Manor House.

Traditional carols will be sung during this special ceremony as we come together to remember loved ones and celebrate those who are no longer with us.

Christmas Lights Switch-On

At 6pm, join us for the official switching on of Buntingford’s Christmas lights – said by many to be some of the best around!

With festive shopping, stalls and food, the Lights of Love ceremony and the Christmas lights bringing the town to life, it promises to be a wonderful evening for all ages.

Bring your family and friends, wrap up warm and join us as we kick off the festive season together in Buntingford.

Stall Applications

Applications for stalls will open on the 6 September 2026 and close on 27 September 2026. Stalls will be allocated on a first come first serve basis with locals given priority. We aim to have as much variety as possible so with this in mind we do not have more than two of the same type of stall.

We will confirm successful applicants by the 3rd October 2026 and payments need to be made by 24th October 2026. Stalls are £55 each (single) and pitches for food stalls are £55 each. Non food pitches are £35.

Stall shown below is a double stall. We will provide lights for the stalls. There are no generators or cooking permitted on the stalls only on the pitches.
